Amazon Alexa now LIVE in Sligo Restaurant

Great news for Hen Parties coming to Sligo with Hen and Stag Sligo. One of our restaurant partners has kitted out their private dining rooms with Amazon Alexa surround sound systems. This move has proved very popular with our hen parties as they can simply ask Alexa to play whatever music they want!.

While the Amazon Echo is not available in Ireland yet, Kevin Quinn of the Embassy Steakhouse was still able to source and install the new technology together with surround sound speakers. The same voice recognition technology has been used by many companies at the forefront of their industries like BMW and Wynn Hotels Las Vegas and is a first for a restaurant in Ireland to date. When hens have this sort of control of the music playing - the scope for fun hen games is endless!. One of the hen parties in with us recently said:

"It's like having our own personal DJ - it's a fantastic idea!". 

The private rooms in the Embassy Steakhouse can hold up to 36 people and very popular with our hen parties. There is also the option of setting up Karaoke for after the meal - it is sometimes hard to get parties out of the room once Karaoke is in full swing!.
