Do the Queen Maeve Walk of Knocknarea - Ever  heard of the Warriors Run? Well this is the Warriors Walk I suppose. A beautiful walkway up to the top of Knocknarea with spectacular views of Sligo. Definitely a way to get the badness out from the night before. |
Check out the Megalithic Tombs in Carrowmore. For  those looking for something less adventurous but maybe trying to kick the brain into gear again - check out one of the largest complexes of megalithic tombs in Ireland the earliest depositions approximately 3700 BC. |
Do a beach walk at Strandhill or Rossespoint. Two of  the finest beaches in Ireland - a stroll on either of these is sure to clear the head. Plenty of Cafes and Bars in both Strandhill for some food or a bit of hair of the dog!. Shell's Cafe, The Strand Bar or Mama Johnstons worth checking out in Strandhill. Get all the toxins out of your system by trying the famous Voya Seaweed Baths in Strandhill. It's often  been said that a Seaweed Bath is the best cure for a hangover in Sligo. There is no doubt that it is extremely relaxing and definitely a must if you have never tried them out. |
The Stand-up Paddling Experience on the Garavogue is truely spectacular and you would be forgiven  thinking you were in the middle of the rain forest!.
